Having struggled with acne in her youth and often feeling self-conscious about the appearance of her skin, Vivian was inspired to take control of her health and begin navigating the world of wellness and self-care. Outside the realm of skincare, Vivian studied at the University of Alberta, earning a BA in English Literature with a Minor in East Asian Studies, before pursuing a Master’s in English Literature: Modernities at the University of Glasgow. She is passionate about exploring the intersections between popular culture, social issues, and digital reportage in the age of the internet. Beyond her academic interests, Vivian carries a deep love for all things creative and whimsical. From dance to making quirky art, she is continually inspired by the ways creative expression connects people and ideas.
