What is DiolazeXL?
DiolazeXL is a next-generation laser hair removal treatment that combines high power with a gentle touch. It safely and effectively reduces unwanted hair by targeting the follicle deep below the skin – all while delivering a more comfortable experience thanks to the built-in skin cooling surface.
Does it hurt?
Your safety and comfort are a priority here at Natology. The DiolazeXL laser is equipped with one of the largest built-in cooling surfaces available, which keeps the skin calm during treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as a light snap or warm flick – far gentler than waxing or traditional laser systems.
How many sessions will I need?
While each client is beautifully unique along with their skin journey, most of our clients see noticeable long-term transformation after 8–12 sessions. The total number of treatments may vary based on hair colour, texture, skin tone, and the area being treated – all of which we discuss during your consultation.
Is laser hair removal safe for all skin types?
Yes. Our leading-edge technology is designed to be safe and effective for a wide range of skin tones. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and hair to tailor the treatment to you and your skin journey.
What should I do before my treatment?
We recommend shaving the treatment area 24 hours beforehand. This allows for the laser to easily access the hair follicle beneath the skin for effective removal. We do ask that you avoid waxing, plucking, or excessive sun exposure in the days leading up to your session. We’ll provide you with full pre-treatment guidance when you come in for your consultation.
Can I shave between treatments?
Absolutely. In fact, shaving is encouraged between sessions if needed. Simply avoid waxing or tweezing, as they remove the follicle itself, which is what the laser needs to target for best results when you return for your next session.
How does it work?
The DiolazeXL system uses a precise diode laser beam that passes through the skin to heat the hair root. This controlled warmth disables the follicle’s ability to regrow, leaving your skin smoother with each session – and preventing future growth where it’s no longer desired.
Why are multiple sessions required?
Our bodies’ regenerative abilities are quite amazing and resilient, and our hair grows in cycles. Laser treatments are most effective when hair is in its active growth phase. Because not all hair is in the same stage at once, a series of treatments ensures each follicle is effectively targeted at the right time for long-lasting smoothness.
Which areas can be treated?

Will I need downtime after my appointment?
Not at all. You can resume your day right away. You might notice a little redness or warmth in the area – similar to a mild sun-kissed glow – but it can fade quickly after your treatment. We will guide you with aftercare instructions to ensure your skin remains happy post-treatment.
